Join and enjoy the high-level discussion about the role of local flexibilities for stabilising the grid with the four big European DSO associations E.DSO. CEDEC, Eurelectric and GEODE as well as with representatives of the European Commission and the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER).
In this high-level workshop we are going to discuss the role of local flexibilities for stabilising the grid with practitioners (represented by four big European DSO associations E.DSO. CEDEC, Eurelectric and GEODE), framework setters (represented by the European Commission and the Council of European Energy Regulators CEER), solution providers and researchers (represented by consortium members of H2020 funded projects). The workshop is a collaboration with the H2020 project
InterFlex.
Questions that are going to be raised (amongst others):
- Are flexibilities the right solution to resolve local grid challenges?
- How can local and regional platforms link to existing energy and balancing markets and what are the roles of TSOs, DSOs, aggregators and other players of the energy domain?
- What kind of policy and regulation support is needed to exploit the full potential of local flexibilities?
- Which standardised solutions should the ICT industry come up with to foster the use of local flexibilities?
