GOFLEX participated in the BRIDGE Horizon 2020 Project Zone at the European Utility Week in Amsterdam between 3rd -5th of October 2017.
The European Utility Week is a business, innovation and information platform for the smart utility community. The audience will range from local to global players from utilities to system integrators covering the entire smart energy value chain.
The Horizon 2020 Project Zone was facilitated by the BRIDGE initiative enabling a common view on cross-cutting issues among ongoing Horizon 2020 Smart Grid and Energy projects. As one of the 22 projects at the Horizon 2020 Project Zone, GOFLEX answered questions on its approach to provide solutions for all market actors who want to use, provide or trade local energy and flexibility on a cloud-based market application. Further, the new project video was launched and showcased to interested visitors (take a look at our
website). Moreover, Alexander von Jagwitz (B.A.U.M. Consult GmbH) held a GOFLEX project presentation with the title "GOFLEX - Business Models demonstrated in a cellular energy system based on 100% renewables". The presentation focused on:
- The cellular approach: The bottom-up energy system based on local distributed energy resources
- Trading local energy and flexibility: Local business models enabled by the GOFLEX Platform solutions
- GOFLEX Trial Sites – Use cases demonstrating the cellular bottom-up approach
